WHO
27 year old web developer from sunny southern California! I’m experienced in a lot of things (but master of none). I’ve worked with ASP, PHP, .NET, CSS, Javascript. I have experience with reporting software such as google analytics and clicktracks. For 4 horrifying months i was in charge of Google Adwords and some banner campaigns. I’ve spent a lot of time doing web maintance opposed to developing new cool systems, but hey whatever pays the bills. Recently started getting into .NET and ‘real’ programming in general.
WHAT
Often when you can do something someone can’t they assume you must be smart. I’ve been involved with web development for over 7 years and while my knowledge is more extensive then someone who knowsnothing , i’m really lacking in a lot of basic programming knowledge (and d i’m lazy). I’ve met 16 year olds who could kick my ass in program-land. Now that I’ve moved from cheesy simple ASP/PHP sites to .NET i REALLY realize how weak and incomplete my knowledge is.
So i’m ‘Smartest of the Stupid People’ and this is my attempt to document and exaime code, techniques, tricks, and tips that i use or hear.
If i can find a good geeky joke i’ll post that too.
